Kundalini Yoga Cambodia Teacher Association (KYCTA)

On 18 December 2011 the third Association meeting took place at the Kundalini Yoga House

in Phnom Penh. About 80% of the fifteen Kundalini Yoga teachers currently active and/or

teaching in Cambodia were present. Teachers unanimously accepted the first draft of the

KYCTA charter and elected Rachael Lowe as the president tasked to support KYTCA in further

developing its charter and activities, and initiating the institutional relationships with IKYTA,

KRI, and KYAsia.

In the second meeting on 1 April 2012, membership procedures were further developed

and the teacher development programme was discussed. The first staff development

meditation and teacher

practice and feedback sessions.

All following meetings included teacher practice and

feedback sessions.

      During the Kundalini Yoga Asia Festival in Thailand in October 2012, the president of
      KYCTA and four of the members had the opportunity to meet with Guruka Kaur,
      the president of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA), based in
      the USA.
